This year, entry to the exhibition is $10 and FREE for exhibiting artists and people volunteering at the exhibition.
This is the 10th anniversary of the exhibition and we have an amazing night planned. The exhibition aims to bigger and better with talented artists from our Footprints community — clients, staff, volunteers, and their family and friends, as well as talented artists from further afield.
We have over 60 exhibiting artists and over 180 artworks that will be showcased and auctioned on the night. There is something for everyone’s taste and budget.
Internationally renowned local artist, David Hinchliffe is exhibiting and auctioning three (3) of his artworks, one of which will be auctioned live on the night. If you are a fan of David’s work, you won’t want to miss this opportunity. Artworks below (L to R): Night Figures New York, The Garden Of Eden, Chef.
We also have this amazing painting by Alana Duff titled Australiana (below), which will be raffled on the night. Alana has participated in many of our past exhibitions, she is an award-winning artist including winning the Peoples’ Choice Award at one of our past exhibitions.
We hope you’ll join us and please bring your family, friends and generous spirits. By attending and bidding, you will be supporting our artistic clients, local artists and Footprints Community. 25% from the sale of each piece will go to supporting Footprints … and we need your support, no matter how big or small. Any profits from the night will be used to help support our clients to access housing and live meaningful lives.
Each year, this event provides inclusion, participation and an opportunity for people within the community to come together and enjoy art and culture. The exhibition promotes the creative talents of a diverse range of artists. It provides our clients with an opportunity to showcase and sell their artwork. The experience aims to build our clients self-esteem, confidence and resilience by being involved in a quality community art exhibition setting.
The exhibition will again be held at Lightspace, which is a unique, contemporary and stylish venue across from our Light Street office in Fortitude Valley. This modern and elegant venue provides the perfect environment and atmosphere for an unforgettable event. Checkout Lightspace’s stunning video showcase.
