Recovery and Wellness Program
The Recovery Wellness Program is a 12-month recovery psychosocial support program that aims to improve the self-management and wellbeing of people who are at risk of homelessness, reside in a boarding house, in supported accommodation, hostel or crisis accommodation.
The program offers recovery-based support that strengthens community connections and increases positive relationships by building on the resilience and strength found in each individual.

Who is this program for?
The program is for people who are:
- 18 years of age or older
- Linked with Metro North or Metro South mental health services
- Residing in a boarding house, supported accommodation, hostel, or crisis accommodation
- Not on an active NDIS package
Service regions
Metro North HHS: Redcliffe/Caboolture, Prince Charles Hospital, Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.
Metro South HHS: Princess Alexandra Hospital, Logan Hospital, Redland Bay Hospital.
- Recovery Based Case Management with a Person Centred Approach, working with individuals to meet their needs and goals
- Practical Supports to Develop or Improve Skills
- Access to Peer based groups
- Psychosocial support via case management
- Capacity building
- Psychoeducation of self-management of mental health

How to refer
Referrals must come from a Queensland Health mental health clinician. If you’re already linked with Metro North or Metro South mental health services, ask your clinician about a referral to RWP.
