Sal’s story | Team member spotlight

Congratulations to Sal, Aged Care Activities Coordinator on your 20th work anniversary at Footprints Community!

Hi, I am Sal and I have been working at Footprints Community for more than 20 years.

I think Footprints is a very unique organisation because there are so many different programs and that’s the reason I have been here for so long.

It’s very rewarding working with clients and it’s rewarding when clients are satisfied with us.

They call me the jack of all trades. I have worked as an in-home support worker, worked with a disability program, I worked as a Key Support Worker and I work in groups. I have also worked in residential support care, then disability and aged care and now Social Support Groups (SSG).

The social support groups are designed to develop, maintain, and support social interaction, independent living, health and wellbeing.

We thank you for your commitment to clients and colleagues, and for continuing to bring your boundless energy and genuine care to Footprints!
