Lynn loves to take Dazee, her six-year-old bulldog on regular outings along the bay’s foreshore and up the pier.
However, after a fall, ongoing back pain and health issues, made it difficult to keep up her long walks with her cherished pet, as well as doing tasks such as grocery shopping.
Thanks to Footprints’ dedicated management of her Home Care Package, Lynn was able to obtain a motorised scooter, which has made a world of difference.
Lynn is grateful to Footprints and her Care Manager, Erika, for her assistance in advocating for it.
Erika had just started employment at Footprints when Lynn contacted the not-for-profit organisation, initially for some domestic support involving cleaning.
While the cleaning was arranged, Lynn found it wasn’t quite what she wanted, and after Erika’s advice and assistance, switched from fortnightly cleans to six-monthly in-depth spring cleans.
Lynn said she was very pleased with the “flexible and responsive support” that she has received from Erika. “I got the best caseworker, of course,” she said.
One year on, Lynn said she was glad she reached out to Footprints and has been recommending the service provider to everyone ever since.
